Almost daily, we read a news item about some facet of our lives. Political government has taken over. The latest is taking over control of the Internet. One of the biggest power grabs, utilizing the Tele-communications Act of 1934, which allows the FCC to declare the free Web a public utility. Which opens the door for government to implement all sorts of rules and regulations, which will stymie and limit your methology of communication.
This great and wonderful technological advancement, which gave us great access to communication with others around the world, is about to be curtailed and controlled by political government. And achieved by accessing a law 80 years old, passed long before the internet existed. Therefore Internet Freedom as we know it will be forever changed.

We are long past the era of “Father Knows Best” and into an era of “Political government knows best about everything from A to zizzard.” Which came about as a result of individually surrendering our Freedom.

I use the term “political government,” because in essence, Freedom is self-government. Therefore to begin understanding freedom, the first order of business is recognition of two kinds of government. One is individual and personal, and the other is Political.

One of the areas we become muddled and confused comes from constant bombardment with terms like religious Freedom, Freedom of the Press. Travel Freedom, and on and on, now we hear the term, “internet freedom.” There is no forty flavors of freedom. There is only One Freedom. When you understand its meaning, you will know its application to all areas of your life. Freedom is self-responsibility and control of your life. Freedom is Ownership, which means one must understand the criteria of ownership to understand freedom.

Your ownership begins with yourself. Ownership is Control, and only you can control your body, mind, soul and emotions. Only you can make decisions about your Life, Liberty and happiness. No one else can digest the food that sustains your life. There are certain criteria which define Ownership. For eample you cannot own anything you do not have the power to destroy. I’m not speaking about the wisdom or absence of it relative to destruction. By our very nature we destroy to survive. You are destroying a hamburger when you eat it because you own it. Sounds over simplified.

We destroy wood to build houses, we destroy trees for firewood to heat. We destroy the animal’s coating to have wool, and on and on many areas we destroy in our lives. The bottom line is by man’s very nature he must destroy to survive.

Accordingly, if you think you own something, but are required to obtain permission from someone who owns no part of it, you in fact do not own. Example, if you think you own your home but must obtain permission from someone else to add a deck or bath, re-roof or add a room, you in fact do not own, but simply live in a share-cropping situation. Where you bear all the expenses and someone else who has not one dime invested in property you own, but has acquired the political power to dictate terms to you, while you have blackmailed yourself into believing you own it when in fact you do not.

Now you think you own your computer and internet service, but that’s about to change. It’s going to be snatched away. Along with the many other areas of our One Freedom.

We are bedazzled by footwork of political government into thinking in terms of separation of freedoms. Listening to news about religious freedom, Freedom of speech, internet Freedom, there is only one Freedom, and that’s Control of your Life and all you acquire to  control by virtue of the fact you own it. True ownership is not separation or division of control. Freedom is a total concept and so is ownership of property. We have become sitting ducks for political   government to take, rake, and control, while we sit back and fail to recognize, the Freedom of self-government has been so eroded and infringed upon, it’s taboo to discuss Freedom, for fear of facing the reality that we have become enslaved by a different set of rules under a different form of political government. That is Socialism, instead of a republic operating under the laws of the U.S. Constitution.
And another area of Enlightenment to understand Freedom is the economics of freedom, and a great book to read is “What Government Has Done to Our Money,” by Murray Rothbard, of the Austrian school of economics.

If you are unhappy with conditions as they are, and periodically have a tinge of conscience and wonder what you can do. There is much you can do which begins with an understanding and comprehension of the meaning of freedom, and a burning desire to have it. Without it you live in bondage and enslavement.

The bearer of bad news is never very popular and the news of the day is, We the People of this nation are in the ditch up to our gills in Socialism and getting worse each day that passes. Remember the question asked at the early founding fathers convention? “What kind of Government have you given us?” And the reply was, “A Republic if you can keep it.” Today the bottom line is we have not kept it. We have lost it by surrender to a Socialistic form including both Fascism and Communism brands of Socialism.
Let Freedom Ring
