Anne is my name and Freedom is my Game. I’ve been standing up for Freedom as long as I can remember. But for those unfamiliar with my website and FB page, one should go back and read my history of finding myself in a Japanese jail back in the mid-fifties, which prompted me to discover the real meaning of freedom, and stand up and fight for it, when presented with conditions, big or small, that infringed on my personal freedom.

Much about the story of my life and the Philosophy of Freedom is presented in the one thousand-plus articles posted on my website, octogenariansblog.com, plus how and why I began writing on a website.

A few days ago I happened to click on something on my Facebook site and discovered a long list of names and requests to be friends on FB and happily clicked on some to sign on. For anyone new signing on to FB or reading my website articles, it’s important to know I’m somewhat computer illiterate and hardly know a mouse from a modem. I’m just not mechanically nor electronic minded. Depend upon others to do all my website postings. And I apologize ahead of time for grammatical errors and mis-spellings.

As I’ve stated before, I write to inform or entertain, and motivate others about Freedom. According to some psychologists and psychiatrists, we as human beings have a “need” for attention or recognition, above and beyond the need for food, clothing and shelter. And I’m no different, I have a need to bring attention to the glorious perks of freedom, and to motivate others to understand it, to a point of desiring it above and beyond the trappings of bondage.

It’s my belief Freedom is a God-given right to everyone by our Creator. And it’s the lust for power of some over others, who impede this Right, mainly via political governments. There are two kinds of Government, i.e., self-government and political governments. Freedom is expressed via self-government and bondage implemented via political Governments.

At a time in our history here in this country we enjoyed the Perks of Freedom, under a government of the people, by the people and for the people. But all that has changed. Here we are ending the year 2014, wrapped to the gills in a dictatorial political system of government, of so many imposed rules, regulations, edicts and laws, a kid can no longer operate a lemonade stand.

Living in the information age, one has to wonder, how did we become so ignorant about Freedom, we the people have accepted and sanctioned the bondage of Socialism over freedom. Without a shot being fired. A handful of rulers in Washington have conquered 300-million plus citizenry, and transferred a nation of freedom loving, hard working capitalistic to a system of bondage, under their thumb.

How did that happen? In my opinion we were indoctrinated and taught to accept it through six generations of Socialized public schooling. And every nine months turning out a new batch of millions ingrained in the tenets of the philosophy of Socialism. We the people set it up and let it happen.

So here we are about to ring in year 2015, like a ship without a rudder, about to swear in a new set of politicians elected to govern without a leader and no clear cut plan of action to change this nation back to a land of the free. Just a lot talk, investigating, procrastinating, babbling about more Socialist programs, getting all dressed up to appear on six o’clock news, to further indoctrinate a confused people into more and more socialism.

It became taboo sometime ago to even talk about freedom. Therefore the dilemma we face today is a decision as to whether or not we prefer Freedom over Bondage, and if so where do we begin?

The obvious answer is we must talk about it with a desire to understand it, and make a decision, as to whether or not we want freedom. Innately we all know freedom is not free, and requires “eternal vigilance.”

Each day that passes on the road to bondage of Socialism, the price to regain freedom becomes more costly. An interesting thing about freedom, the price for it never diminishes. Now the American people are faced with a major decision, specifically, is the price for freedom too high to stand up and fight for, in preference to Socialism. A new system which has already transferred America to pave the way for a One World government.

You know the old saying, How do you remove alligators from the pond? Very carefully, one at a time. In this connection, each individual must decide for themselves whether or not they prefer freedom over the bondage of Socialism, then decide what it is you are willing to do about it today.

It’s a hard pill to swallow, to admit we inherited a legacy of freedom from our founding fathers and squandered it. But that’s precisely what we the people did. Therefore it’s the responsibility of every individual in this country, bar none, to face the reality with a “Root, Hog, or die” resolve to regain that which we have squandered. We accept the enslavement of Fascist or Communistic brands of Socialism, or we stand up and fight to regain the freedoms we have lost. Our time of dillydallying around about it has past. The onus of decision and action is now upon us. Where do you start? By talking about freedom, which is simply self-responsibility and self-control, with an underlying understanding of “Ownership.”
