Last night on the Megyn Kelly Fox news program, there was an interesting segment showing the President speaking and repeating same speeches verbatim of George Bush. In these serious times that try men’s souls, we expect the President of the United States to report his decisions and actions with sincere heartfelt rhetoric. But he’s just repeating stuff from the former President’s speech writer, rather rote like staccato.

In today’s headline news, the Iraq prime minister reports plans of ISIS to bomb the New York subway. Plus news ISIS is using chemical warfare in Iraq to kill one-hundred Iraq soldiers. Plus latest news about Ferguson, Missouri screw-ups over the recent killing there.

Then news about Attorney General Holder resigning and some reports suggesting upcoming news about some of his actions and decisions, may be the reason.

Then there’s news about efforts to censor the Rush Limbaugh show, protesting his reports about news and happenings.

More news on bombings of ISIS in Syria, reporting France joining up to assist in bombings, along with news about unfavorable economic conditions in France, because of strangulation of Socialism.

Plus very disturbing news the great American Patriot Dinesh D’Souza, author of the recent bestseller, America, charged and convicted to serve eight months in work release program, five years probation, $30,000 in fines. Prior news describes him as the “nemesis” of President Obama. Read his book and reports about government’s efforts to mislead the judge in his case.

Just a few of today’s headlines. On a personal note, a post from a man in the news business wrote, “I will pray for your poor tortured soul, and that is a stretch considering I’m an atheist.” Information for this misguided reader of my writings, I’m definitely not a tortured soul and seek nothing from any atheist. Despite the fact I’m disturbed at times over happenings in my country, I’m quite happy with my life, and my independent thinking, quite informed about what’s taking place in this country. This was a Facebook post.

In all my writings it’s not my position to tell others what they should do, but rather information about what they can do, to improve conditions in their lives and this country. I write to inform to educate and entertain, not to dictate to anyone. Comments from readers indicate some thinking with concern. However not enough, because I see no improvement in conditions nor change of direction, when it comes to politics, economics, philosophy, for the better. The status quo in public schooling, politics, entitlement program enrollment, and voting habits, pretty much the same, only worse in some cases.

Out of love of Freedom and country and the future of my grandchildren, I continue to write, expressing my opinions, reporting news events, with suggestions about things others may consider doing, for enlightenment to change the course of history in this country.

In this connection, I suggest anyone desiring to understand what’s taking place to find a copy of “Witness” by Whitaker Chambers, for insight about goings on in Washington. Read the book “The Twelve Year Sentence” to know about public schooling. Read, “How I found Freedom In an Unfree World” to understand Freedom. Plus Rose Wilder Lane’s Book, “The Discovery of Freedom.” Read the Dinesh D’Souza current bestseller, “America.” Plus requiring your children to read the Declaration of Independence and study the U.S. Constitution. And one other book, “The Law” by Bastiat.

To change the dynamics of direction, the people must wake up and acquire understanding about history, politics, Freedom, economics, education versus schooling. Knowledge is the power, and as Dr. Phil says, “You can’t change that which you refuse to acknowledge.”

Last but not least, a reminder of a letter found on a dead soldier in the Korean war, written to God, which said: “Strange I had to reach this hellish place before I ever saw your shining face.”

As evidence of just how bad conditions are, this morning news shows the enemy standing with a gun, forcing young men to dig their grave, then shooting them. If that’s not enough to stir one’s nettle to wake up and do something, I don’t know what will.

A bit of encouragement from a reader’s comment this morning, which stated: “What I do not understand is in truth how you are not actually a lot more smartly liked than you may be now. You are so intelligent. You already know therefore significantly in terms of this topic, made me for my part consider it from so many various angles.” A comment from my article titled “THE CAUSE IS SOCIALISM.”

A quote From Fredrich Hayek: “Unlike Liberalism, with its fundamental belief in long range power of ideas, Conservatism is bound by the stock of ideas inherited at a given time. And since it does not really believe in the power of argument, it’s last resort is generally a claim to superior Wisdom, based on some self-arrogated superior quality.”

First of all I want to say great blog! I had a quick
question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before
writing. I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?
