In this year’s mid-term election, politicians are crawling out of the wood-work, to hawk their wares. Most in power seek re-election and newcomers are appearing everywhere, but all with an underlying pitch, “vote for me and I’ll fix your problems.”

As I see it, never in my long life have we faced the magnitude of problems we in this country face today. As political ads for election, on television, robo calls, and social media, beginning to saturate, I hear no one speaking about returning this country to individual Freedom. Most of the rhetoric, is a presentation of the ditch we’re in, finding others to blame, claiming they can fix. A call to donate, rotate and investigate what other politicians have done.

Yesterday the news was about President Obama talking to Russian leader President Putin, without divulging the essence of a ninety-minute conversation. Then hearing the former IRS employee Lois Lerner, appearing before Congress, refusing to talk and claiming Fifth Amendment Rights. Then Congressmen, holding hearings screaming like a banshee, elected Cummings and Issa, going at it like school kids on lunch break.Topped off by a speech from New Jersey Governor Christie, trying to re-invent himself and salvage his sagging reputation, after the Bridge closing debacle.

There is really no excuse for anyone being uninformed about the reality of what’s going on and where we are, it’s reported on the news daily and out-pictured in our daily lives. The bottom line is, our major degree of Freedom, for “Life, Liberty, and Property,” has been severely curtailed, by the attitude of the people and absence of leadership in positions elected to lead according to the laws of the US Constitution.

Because the 535 members of Congress make the laws and have the power of distribution of money collected from the people, the President spends the money Congress appropriates and executes the laws Congress passes. Therefore the problems we face originate with those who make the laws and control the money. If the president is not obeying laws as reported, and spending money foolishly, then Congress holds the reins of power to correct the problem.

What’s Congress doing? apparently listening to lobbyists, and not the people and the Constitution, spending their time holding hearings, and getting all dressed up to appear on the 6 o’clock news, to advertise excuses for what they do and do not do, which has taken this country so far down the road of Socialism, there appears to be no turning back to the Principles upon this nation was founded.

One bit of good news yesterday, here in Georgia the State General Assembly voted to nullify most of Obamacare in this State.

Whatever Congress and the executive branch in Washington do, in no way, shape, form nor fashion nullifies States’ Rights and Individual Rights as set forth in the Constitution, simply means they have violated. Therefore it’s up to the people, to re-claim and re-assert their Rights, and hold those accountable who have violated.

Therefore if one takes an objective look at conditions we face today, it can be summed up as Abandonment issues. Specifically, we the people have abandoned our responsibility of holding the elected accountable for all the Rights violations they have perpetrated which have brought us to this brink of disaster and bondage.

Accordingly, as we listen to the same old political rhetoric from hopefuls trying to get elected, the question to ask is, “What are your plans to remove the boot off the necks of the Constitutional Rights of the people,” first and foremost. Why do we need politicians to tell us horror stories about the things those now in power have perpetrated? We hear that on nightly news. Repetition by political hopefuls is simply a ploy of the con game of politics.

A problem today is the fact that Capitalism and the Free-enterprising system, are so intertwined and mixed in with Socialism, both brands of Fascism and Communism, the people are dazzled with confusion. A tangled barbed wire mixture, we are overdue to separate Truth from fiction, the Truth and a lie. It’s not rocket science. Just a common-sense approach of understanding the problem, and where the power of money is, and who is in charge of it.

We must face the fact, we the people, are no longer in control of power and money, the US Congress is. And all they’re doing is holding hearings, and passing laws for more of the same thing, while conditions go from bad to worse. However no matter what they do we still retain Rights we must activate to change conditions. Not exercising our Rights by no means, shape, form nor fashion means we no longer have them, it simply means we’re asleep at the switch and not exercising them.

The father of Taoism, Lao-Tzu said: “Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power.” Which tells us we’re at the crossroads of Strength versus Power, at this day in our history to decide which we choose to be the Master.
