Over the past seven years I’ve written many articles about politicians and voting. Not much favorable to either one. I’ve pretty much described voting as a veiled threat of disguised coercion. Despite the fact I’m a registered voter, have refrained from participating in the process the past number of years.
A number of years back, I became involved in the political process in Tennessee, by joining up with local Republicans. Did not have a very positive experience, I have described in detail in previous articles. Since that time, have not been active in any political process.
On Facebook, someone signed me up as working for Ron Paul, when I tried to delete, somehow signed up as actually working for him. I have never worked for Ron Paul. I’ve beenso disenchanted with conditions in this Country, as a result of actions of politicians, taking this nation from a Republic to a State of Socialism, I think all those in seats of power in Washington should be thrown out of office.
We are overdue to clean house with a clean slate. I’m all for individual Freedom, the Free-enterprising system, and the Original Constitution of laws. In my opinion, the Constitution has been ignored by those now occupying elected seats in Washington.
This Country is in dire need of a new leader, one who understands, respects and adheres to the basic tenets of the Principles upon which this nation was founded upon, and thrived on in its earlier years. The only politician I know of, who has a record of governing, from reports I’ve read is Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin. Reports are he has over a 3 billion dollar surplus in his State. An impressive accomplishment when we consider the 17 trillion debt, federal politicians have led us into.
From reports of Scott Walker’s governing of his State, and decisions, in defiance of unions and Washington politics, he has become a target of President Obama, after he refused to close State Parks, when ordered to do so. He not only believes in doing the right thing, has the intestinal fortitude to stand up and fight for that which he believes to be the right course of action for his State.
In my opinion, he’s the best one on the horizon thus far, to be President of the United States, to turn the direction of this nation back to the Principles upon which it was founded, by those revolutionaries who had a “Root, Hog, or die” mentality that won the war against England, and handed down to us a legacy of Freedom, and a set of laws which guaranteed freedom. His decisions and actions as governor prove him to be the kind of leader this nation so desperately needs at this time in our history. And I support him for President, if he chooses to run.
When I woke up this morning, living here in a little town in northeast Georgia, a non-political activist, wondered what I could do to support him. I have a storage building back of my garage, where around 500 books are boxed up. I’ve decided I’ll have a garage sale, and contribute any money from the sale of my library of books to Scott Walker. I’m aware that sounds like such a small drop in the bucket, but compelled to do something to support anyone who has a record of support for the people, freedom and Constitutional law in a position to stand with some clout, for those founding father principles.
Just yesterday, I received a notice from the campaign manager of Scott Walker, for a contribution. Couldn’t help but wonder how my name got on his list, living this far away from Wisconsin. However, began thinking if half the 300 million-plus citizens sent ten dollars contribution in support of Scott Walker, he could be shooed in as president.
While the liberal press does nothing but talk constantly about Hillary and Christie for President, we the people must look to one whose record speaks for that which he stands for, think for ourselves, and reject progressive media, misleading us into the same direction we’re now headed.
Time is of the essence, and only truth supported by action, will get us out of the ditch we’re in. Surely we can come up with something aside from letter writing to those who have brought us to this brink of disaster, begging them for help. As Dr. Phil says, “Past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior.”
In this connection, I woke up this morning, asking myself, What can I do? What must I do, to contribute to the future of my grandchildren? What can I do to give back to my country, which has given so much to me? Which is now in shambles.
John Adams, 1735-1826, founding father and second President said, “Let us disappoint the Men who are raising themselves upon the ruin of this Country.”
Let FREEDOM RING
Just me, AC
