Never a day goes by without dozens of solicitation requests in my email box, for money to support this, that and the other groupy activity. Is this current trend some kind of racket or what?
Today was a request for money to support a group called ACT-RIGHT LEGAL FOUNDATION. Saying they are taking the lead for action targeting conservative groups.
I Don’t support organized charities, much less organized conservative groups. When I have something to give and contribute, I only do so in support of individuals who might need help.
I’m wondering when people are going to learn, organizing sets one’s self up to be a target of the very thing they are opposing. The long arm of political power always targets groupy resistance.
Secondly, political power thrives and proliferates on two things, dependency upon it and opposition to it. Despite the fact they sometimes target individuals, but rarely do they bother with some loose cannon individual, who is opposing.
I’m not a joiner of anything, however there are occasions when others arbitrarily sign me on as a member of their organization. I signed up to receive news letters from the Tea Party, but definitely never joined.
I have fought many battles in my lifetime, but always as an individual. I learned my lesson early on living in Nevada, when I formed a small group to review communism in public school text books, and immediately became a target. A story I have described in a previous article.
I knew from its inception the Tea Party would eventually be targeted by the powers at-be. We can understand things by recognizing their nature, and it’s the nature of political government to thrive on opposition to it, via groups.
I never took on any battle I couldn’t afford to pay for. And in my opinion those who decide to organize then start yelping for funds to support their cause are out in left field. Anyone who decides to organize ought to be able to fund their own activities. This group-think mentality, that seeks money from others to fund their activities is a sad state of affairs, in my opinion.
I’m not afraid of very many things, however there is no way I would tangle with the Internal Revenue. I have children who own their own business and pay obscene amounts of money to IRS, but they just quietly pay it with no fuss, or bother. IRS is a sleeping giant of power, that can and will rise up and attack.
Several years ago I lived across the street from the IRS in an apartment in Chamblee, Georgia. In the same apartment building lived a lady employed at IRS and we were friends and the tales she would tell about things going on in IRS were scary. One tale in particular she used to talk about was about investigating agents getting together, laughing and bragging, about their having the power of God to do anything God could do aside from raising up the dead. It was their favorite topic when they got together, that is, bragging about their power.
There is so much individuals can and should do to curb the onslaught of power of political government, but monkeying with IRS is not one of them. They could demand their elected representative take action to curb the onslaught of activity by IRS employees. Especially now when the cat is out of the bag about the unlawful things they do, according to news reports.
At this very moment there’s a news report on TV about the IRS scandal.
All this uprising of groupy activity against IRS, political government will use to their advantage to further their stranglehold of power over the people. It’s an open trap door. This groupy campaign against the IRS should disband and run for cover. There are many other things individuals can and should do to curb power. This advertised openhanded attack on such a powerful enemy is not something a military strategist would do. Ordinary individuals do not have the weaponry to battle IRS. So foolish to think monetary contributions are the answer.
I could be sincerely wrong, however it’s my opinion drawing out the anger directed to IRS is a ploy, to flush conservatives out in the open, to mow down and shut them up. Their inability to do anything effectively to change IRS, will discourage any further resistance.
And another thing all this hype to impeach Obama, – didn’t we learn anything over the impeachment of Clinton? He’s now the most popular politician in the world. Why not do something effective, like directing attention and efforts to impeach that politician who was paid over a half million by Monsanto, to support them in legislation to genetically modify our food supply. He should be and could be impeached from office. Which might be a lesson to those other elected congressmen, to straighten up and fly right.
Conditions in this Nation are going from bad to worse, because the people are barking up the wrong tree, to effectively change the direction we’re going. If one wishes to impeach someone why not start some place that could be effective. President Obama is too popular to assume he could be impeached. Is one’s memory so short not to remember he was re-elected after informing us he would transform America?
After all the upheaval over Benghazi, what have we accomplished aside from learning how to spell it? Congress seems to be so inept all they do is investigate, and not very good at that. Start with impeaching and knocking them out of the ball park one by one. Most are do-nothing fixtures in Washington anyway aside from raising taxes.
