When I read my website comment section, I run a gamut of emotions. Many very complimentary remarks about my writings. Questions about other areas one can find in my writings. All kinds of questions about blogging and starting one’s own website. This morning, an unusual one, asking if they could “apprentice” under me to write articles. Then the oodles of spam comments. Today a comment on an article about teenage terrorist, a lengthy write-up promoting a sprinkler system.

In many of my writings, I’m promoting Freedom, the beauty, importance, its meaning and value of it. The very foundation this nation was founded upon was the bedrock of Freedom. Currently it’s under attack, and particularly since the depression of the thirties and FDR era, there has been a steady and continuous erosion of Freedom. Now into the second decade of this century, 2013, individual Freedom is boxed in on many fronts by a centralized political government.

If Freedom is a total concept, and I believe it is, which means it’s 100%, I suggest around 50% of individual freedoms are boxed up, fenced in, and unavailable to the average American. anI believe we are in the latter stages of the totalitarism of a Socialistic form of government. We are now living under so many levels of political government in our lives, from City, County, State and Federal, our children must obtain approval to set up a lemonade stand.

Therefore, spending my time and energy writing about Freedom, and the loss of it is a very serious matter, stemming from my great love of freedom and this country. And concerns that future generations will not have it to enjoy as I have.

Relative to the subject of Freedom, I’ve been disappointed at the absence of meaningful response in the thousands of comments I’ve received. An impressive number commenting by saying they read, they liked, and write more. Most do not relate what they read, what liked nor what it is they want more of.

In the past four years and 900-plus articles, every day I kept hoping I would receive comments from readers expressing their opinions about their feelings, knowledge, beliefs, desires and understanding of Freedom. Personal stories about where they are on the subject of Freedom. Some indication on a scale of one to one-hundred where they are in their hopes desires, understanding, concerns, and expectations, relative to the subject of Freedom.

Conversely, of deep concern to me is the absence of concern, relative to the erosion of personal freedom. Across the board, from commenters across the country, the consensus of opinion is pervasive, I read and liked your article, please write more.

Here’s a comment I received this morning, “You make it seem so easy with your presentation, but I find I would never understand, it seems too complex and extremely broad. I’m looking forward to your next post. I’ll try to get the hang of it.” This comes from a dentist.

My question is, what is it he doesn’t understand and too complex? What is it about Freedom being a self-responsibility, one can’t understand? What is it about taxes being an action, of taking one’s property in violation of the will of the owner, hence thievery, too complex to understand?

This reader in my opinion speaks for many others. If understanding Freedom is too complex, and grasping the meaning of what political government is doing to this country is too “extremely broad” for a professional business man to “get the hang of,” something is very very wrong in this country. Have the citizenry in this country been indoctrinated in schooling, beyond the capacity to think?

The one subject I understand backwards and forward is the Philosophy of Freedom. I had hoped four years ago when I began writing on my website, I might motivate at least a few others to stop and think about what’s happening in this country, to understand freedom, and recognize the erosion of it, via the mechanism of politics. But the direction towards bondage has not changed. The only thing that’s changed is the speed those who lust for power to transform America, have revved up.

It’s a bad day at Blackrock, dear hearts and gentle people, when an average American describes freedom and political power too complex and extremely broad to get the hang of it. That’s hog-wash!! It only requires plain old common-sense to understand.

In my opinion it’s a lame excuse to do nothing. The Freedom and politics I’ve written hundreds of articles on, is written in very plain and simple everyday English a child can understand.

Furthermore, I’m beginning to suspect, based upon the thousands of comments I’ve received, the general tempo of the majority is a lazy fear, covering this country like the dew. The unadmitted fear, their entitlements of the nanny state, might be cancelled if they speak up, speak out and do something about conditions. Not everyone, there’s still enough informed enough and value Freedom enough to reverse the transformation of America.

But time is of the essence, because if the Amnesty of the Immigration bill before Congress passes, to give citizenship to 33 million foreigners passes, and becomes law, it may be too late to consider returning this once great nation back to the Principles set forth by our founding fathers. If not too late, it will be much more difficult to turn this country back to its original Constitutional government.

At the very least, gather your children around when they return home from the socialized public schools and read the Declaration of Independence to them, and tell them this is the document of our founding fathers, and the Freedom we once had.

To those who keep commenting, “write more,” I would be happy to, if I received comments revealing some understanding of all I have previously written. Because there’s no more to Freedom and bondage than I have already written, still posted on my website.

Benjamin Franklin writes: “In all history informs us, there has been in every State & Kingdom, a constant of warfare between the governing & governed, the one striving to obtain more for its support, and the other to pay less.” This tells us were at war. A war of ideas, without a shot being fired.

And another from Isaiah Berlin, who wrote Two concepts of Liberty in 1958, said, “All forms of tampering with human beings, getting at them, shaping them against their will, to your own pattern, all thought control and conditioning is, therefore, a denial of that in men which makes them men and their values ultimate.”

  2. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite
reason seemed to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware
of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people think about
worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
