Fast and furious could describe all that’s taking place currently in the news, in the halls of Congress, in the courts, in the White House, and many individuals. Plus the fact the weather is playing havoc, to add to the equasion of upheaval and confusion. Hurricanes, fires, tornadoes, floods, and now 103 temperatures in many areas.

The news is dominated by the Supreme Court ruling in support of Obamacare, and declaring it a tax. The ruling left a string of very angry, confused and upset citizenry on the one hand, and the leftist liberals high-five-ing each other in jubilation.

The shocker came with the news Chief Justice Roberts sided with the four liberals in favor of obamacare. Still reeling from that comes the news in a New York Times article, Justice Roberts suffers from a health problem with symptoms of epilepsy, and it’s surmised he’s medicated for that.

I don’t know much about the disease, but recall a fellow student in high school having epilepsy and would without warning fall down, and be mentally out of it. Then last year I had a housekeeper who had the affliction and without warning would fall down in a comatose condition, eyes rolling in the back of her head and appear to be someone dying, when suddenly she would come out of it.

Over the past months I have listened to a lot of pundits and news reports and no one I heard predicted the Obamacare legislation would be declared a tax.

Then I recalled hearing years back when Social Security became law, it was challenged in the courts as being an un-Constitutional, forced insurance program, when the Court declared it a tax. And after a period of rejection by many, it all blew over and SS remained in effect. The same thing will probably happen with Obamacare.

One of the problems lies in the fact the majority of American citizens refuse to come to grips with the fact political government is a con-game. That is, keep your eye on one ball while the powers that be are plotting another game. And the President declaring his legislation of Obamacare was not a tax.

This is an election year and we have been warned things would delve down into very low and dirty politics, this pre-election season. All the in-fighting between members of Congress over such things as contempt charges against the attorney general, is tactics of the con-game, i.e., keep your eye on this ball while the greater aim to destroy the Freedom and property Rights of the citizenry goes on around the clock. And those in seats of power in this War of Ideas are winning. Nothing taking place to reverse the tiger trek road to Socialism, either Fascism or Communism brand of Socialism.

I wrote several articles about the politics of events when the Republicans were debating, and predicted Obama would be re-elected. I predicted the liberals wanted Romney as their opponent against Obama in November, because he would be the easiest to defeat. The media loves Barack Obama, and groups like Union members, Hispanics, Blacks, Jews, Muslims, homosexuals and most Democrats will vote for him. Plus the large bloc of NEA members will most likely support him. Most of the Independents will vote for him. And I still predict he will be a shoo-in in November.

The millions of complacent, apathetic Americans, who have so smugly sat idly by while the march to socialism continues, are currently upset over the Supreme Court ruling, in disagreement, but that will subside after a short period of fuming about it, and most will settle down and go to the polls and vote for Obama, by the time election day rolls around.

While President Obama is bouncing around from coast to coast in Air Force One to the tune of 180,000 dollars an hour, collecting millions in campaign funds, keeping the attention in the media on the agenda of this regime, dazzling the populace with his charisma, he will be very difficult to defeat in the coming election, in my opinion. The Republican nominee, Romney, is doing the best he can, to offset the onslaught, but too many large blocks of voters will vote en-mass for Obama, to turn the tide down the road of socialism.

It’s reported 40 percent of the nation’s population are “government dependent” and they are not going to support any change of that comfortable position. Quite the contrary, they will vote to sustain it, despite the game-playing that they are against Obama, during the midst of this year’s presidential campaign.

It appears to me the prediction the Communist leader Lenin made in the twenties of the last century, is self-fulfilling, when he laid out his plan of conquering for Communism, by saying, “The United States of America, we shall not have to attack, it will fall into our hands like over-ripe fruit.”

We have been engaged in a war of ideas since that time. Specifically, whether or not the 310 million citizenry of this once great nation, prefer the bondage of socialism over the self-responsibility of Freedom. Undeniably, at this juncture, socialism is winning.

Realistically there are some individuals and some pockets of group resistance, like the Tea Party, who are standing up and speaking up against the onslaught of socialism, but not enough at this juncture to turn the tide. Strangely, many who appear to be for Freedom, and against socialism, will walk into a voting booth and pull the lever secretly in favor of the current regime. And will succumb to the propaganda of the false promises, of those out to destroy the Principles upon which this nation was founded.

In the face of all that’s being revealed, like the President saying Obamacare was not a tax, and the Supreme Court ruling it is a tax, and all the news about how devastating that Act will be, affecting every person in this country, it’s predictable the upheaval of emotional reactions will die down by November, and the majority will vote to keep the same regime in power, to continue the dismantling of a way of life we once enjoyed, that provided the greatest good to the greatest number known to mankind.

I could be sincerely wrong in my analysis, and wish it were not true. But wishes are not horses, and the reality of things as they are today appears the tsunami of socialism griping this nation has the upper hand. Fear and superstition overrides the common sense notion Freedom is desirable over the nanny state of political government doles and controls.

The disenchantment over today’s taxation will pale by comparison if Obamacare is kept in place, because it will cost more and more heavy duty taxation, on an already heavily burdened population.

Keep in mind, we have a President who introduced it, a congress that voted on it and a Supreme Court that ruled in its favor. And we, the people, voted two of these branches of government, who made the decision, into power.

Some might medicate their feelings by remembering we had no idea what President Obama meant when in his last campaign speeches, repeatedly told us his plans were to “transform America.” No excuses now because he has shown us what he meant. And a second term will be more of the same.

In a few days we will be celebrating the 4th of July, a celebration of the independence of a country, fought and won by a group who pledged their lives and fortunes for Freedom. Many suffered greatly and died to pass on the wonders of Freedom to those of us living today. I suggest it’s a time of reflection, to stop and ask ourselves how and why have we squandered this great legacy of Freedom.

The former FBI Director, J. Edgar Hoover, stated in a speech, The Faith to be Free: “The Communist threat from without must not blind us to the Communist threat from within. The latter is reaching into the very heart of America through its espionage agents and a cunning, defiant, and lawless communist party, which is fanatically dedicated to the Marxist cause of world enslavement and destruction of the foundations of our Republic.”
