A PERSIAN PROVERB: “He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool – shun him. He who knows not, and knows that he knows not, is a child, teach him. He who knows and knows not that he knows – is asleep, wake him. He who knows and knows that he knows is wise, follow him.”

One of my favorite quotations, and I’m reflecting upon that quotation while writing these articles from the book “Witness” by Whitaker Chambers, who was a communist and defected, and testified in the congressional hearings, exposing the communists in seats of government. I suggest reading the book, because he knew – listen to him.

I suggest listening to him, because there is much in the current news relating the practices of the Obama regime as being patterned after the Socialist president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

I’m one who listens to Glenn Beck regularly week days on Fox News at 5 o’clock, as he teaches history and informs us as to what is going on in Washington. In this connection, he has done an expose of communists who have been in the current regime, plus an expose of others who tout communist leaders, as being persons they look up to.

Chambers chronicles in detail the saturation of communists in government positions of power in the 30s, 40s and 50s, when they were card-carrying. They no longer carry cards, but apparently still there. All communists are socialists, but not all socialists may not be that brand, some are fascists.

Quoting from his book, Chambers states: “Faced with the opportunity of espionage, a communist, though may sometimes hesitate momentarily, will always, exactly to the degree that he is a communist, engage in espionage. The act will not appear to him in terms of betrayal at all. It will, on the contrary, appear to him as a moral act, the more deserving the more it involves him in personal risk, committed in the name of a faith, communism, on which, he believes, hinges the hope and future of mankind, against a system[capitalism], which he believes to be historically bankrupt.”

There in a nutshell defines the difference in belief relative to communism vs capitalism. Two opposing sides on the battlefield of this war of ideas we are in which has already to a large degree “transformed America.” And we are losing in this battle because of the failure to understand these two opposing views. There is a pervasive failure to grasp the meaning of these two opposing views by the majority of Americans. These two opposing views, are the two irreconcilable moralities, which is at the core of this “transformation of America.”

But make no mistake, those in positions of power, implementing all the socialistic programs, while downplaying capitalism, know exactly what they are doing and why.

On a daily basis, we hear on the news about the loss of jobs and the number unemployed. Coupled with discussions about small businesses being the ones who provide the jobs. And yet the central government and banks do nothing to help the small businesses in this country. It’s because they hate capitalism and want it to fail in favor of communism. And the upcoming tax increase on small businesses, beginning at the end of this year, in five months, will further decrease the capitalistic small business in this country.

In one conversation Chambers relates in his book, he was told: “In the United States, the working class is Democrats, the middle class is Republican, and the upper class are Communist.”
