How did we reach this state of wrong-thinking, apathy and misconceptions, about this great nation, founded on the principles of Freedom of the Individual, Private property ownership, and limited political government, justice in the court system, plus expectations of moral elected politicians, to follow the Constitution?

Where and how did we go so far astray from the fundamental tenets of the great moral guides of The Ten Commandments and Declaration of Independence, to arrive at a place less than 300 years after the formation of this nation, to wind up in a state of Socialism operating on the teachings of Marxism?

As we approach the Fourth of July in this year of 2010, entering a long hot summer, vacationing, beach roaming, picnicking, and lounging around, why not take a little time out to stop and reflect on where we are, how we got here and where were headed? After all the most valuable thing we have, Freedom is at stake. Isn’t it worth a little of our time, effort and focus, to at least give that consideration to know how we lost it?

Going backwards in time, for a moment, let’s realize and admit most of us fall into that catagory of generations, reared and schooled in tax-supported classes, being taught from government funded text-books, by teachers who are products of the same system.

It seems to be a part of our human nature to want to “belong” and be accepted by the groups we associate with. No one likes being ostracised from the group, and ignored. Therefore from pre-kinder-garden on we are conditioned to act in a manner accepted by the group. Nothing wrong with that, unless it is so ingrained, it smothers one’s individuality and hampers one’s ability to think outside the box of group-think.

From early on we are conditioned to belong to groups. We are bombarded by information to join groups, organizations, Alliances, Committees, clubs, Unions, and etc. As described in George Orwell’s group-think, double-speak, double-talk,1984. Today it’s all about Social-media, and belonging. It makes us feel better to “belong” to various groups. From Church groups to Bridge clubs, Auto club, Travel clubs and etc., joining gives us that sense of belonging to something. Nothing wrong with that, until the group-think, so saturates us, we lose our ability of individual thinking and choice making relative to areas of our lives, it can hamper our ability of reason and rationale, relative to independent thinking. As the old saying goes, “we can’t see the woods for the trees.”

Then there’s the “brain-washing” techniques, exposed when used on captured Americans during the Korean war, and so glaringly protrayed in the movie, The Manchurian Candidate.

Then there’s the Pavlovian Theory. An experiment revealing how rats respond to stimuli of bell-ringing and smell.

I call all the current bell-ringing of Socialist, Fascism, Markist, rhetoric we are constantly subjected to, the jack-hammer syndrome.

Then I’m reminded of what Lenin said, the Russian communist leader in the twenties of the last century. He laid out the plan of Global conquering for all to live under Communist Socialism. He explained how to take over Europe, and said, “the United States, we shall not have to attack, it will fall from with-in like over-ripe fruit.” And today we witness that taking place and all affected by it in our everyday lives. Whether we recognize or admit it or not.

Without a shot being fired, Individual freedom, and personal private property is being replaced, by a Socialist way of life. “Taking from the haves to give to the have nots” and re-distribution of assets by a centralized political power-grab group in Washington.

The creeping Socialism, which began with the Progressive movement in the early part of the twentieth century, became leaping socialism in the past two years.

We can compare it to the frog, lanquishing in a pool of warm water, slowly heating until it becomes so hot, the frog has lost the energy and the will to jump out as it reaches a boiling point.

We have languished in all the promises of politicians, grabbing power, by ignoring the Constitution, the laws of the courts and the Will of the people, until today, we are living in a Socialist State. A modern day Caesar, we are forced to pay homage to via a payment of taxes in every phase of our everyday lives.

We were told over and over during the long political campaign in 2008, there would be a change in the way business was conducted in Washington. We were reminded repeatedly, of the incoming, Transformation of America.

No one has stopped the Transformation, nor even slowed it down. Not Congress, the Courts, the media, the military nor the people.

WE, the people, have been so seduced by the talk of politicians, supported and egged on by the news media, and group-think, expressed and taught in the schools and universities, we have apparently lost the ability to think reasonably and rationally for ourselves. Just trudging along, following the yellow brick road, to a life of Socialism. Manifesting in the prediction of Lenin almost one hundred years ago.

“The saddest words of tongue or pen, are these few words, it might have been.”

What can we do? What do we want to do?” Can the current conditions be reversed? Do we want to reverse it? If so how and when?

Again, the words of Abraham Lincoln, in a speech Feburary 12, 1865, are worth repeating: “The people are the rightful masters of both Congresses and Courts, not to over-throw the Constitution, but to over-throw the men who pervert the Constitution.”
