A saying I have heard as far back as I remember is this: “When the student is ready the teacher appears.”

In this connection, I think there are several things which have happened which are now awakening the indomitable spirit of the American people, to rise up from the ashes of over-taxation and political government intrusion and takeover of individual Freedom and Personal property Rights.

First, the age of computors has been a great teacher, providing information through social media, like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc. Plus newsletters, articles and e-mail. Television news, radio and newspapers – fill in some blanks, but the explosion of computor information not only informs but provides the means for anyone to participate and opinionate on a daily basis, relative to all that is happening.

Before the computor age, about all one could do to participate, is write a letter to an editor, or call in on a radio program. Because of this revolutionary medium, it’s no longer necessary to formalize organizations to revolutionize. Ideas and a desire to act spread like wildfire, resulting in people gathering anytime, any place, in small or large groups to protest the onslaught of government takeover. Not necessary to join anything, nor pay any dues, all tha’s necessary is notification via the net for participation. Not necessary to wait for an invitation via slow mail, using the internet it’s instantaneous.

The nihilistic dissent of the American people, in opposition to the Washington Elitist crowd, shows up in such actions as the “Tea Party” movement, but that’s only one part of the dissention.

Words are power and information is power, and via the internet, the people are informed as to what is happening behind closed doors.

It’s reported, a remark by David Axelrod, the President’s close advisor, stated: “They made a decision they were going to sit it out and hope we failed, that the country failed.” No, that’s not true, the American people have hooked their heels in and decided not to sit idly by, like the dummies the liberals have called them, and rise up, speak up, and actively protest, the takeover of this country, by a bunch in power who have ignored the Constitution, and decided to rule by their rules.

This great nation is a country supposedly operating on rules of Law, set forth in the Constitution and expressed in The Declaration of Independence. Stating the Rights of man come from a creator, but this new group of elitists, masters of complexity, via a strategy of conceit and deceit, decided to change that into an entirely different country. A change in total opposition to individual Freedom, and a system of free enterprise, and personal property ownership.

And great inroads have already been made to change life as we once knew it, before the people started waking up from their apathetic slumber. Now we have a slushy mess to clean up, a country to take back, and a crisis to deal with.

Reminds me of a letter written to God, found on the body of a dead American soldier during the Korean war, which read: “Strange I had to reach this hellish place before I ever saw your shining face.”

To paraphrase, it’s strange we had to reach this hellish place in the state of affairs in this country before we saw the shining face of freedom.

We are definitely not there yet, because the awakening is just beginning, as the euphoria of the last election of promised change, has manifested itself in programs of Socialism, unsustainable debt, rapid erosion of individual Freedom, clearly visible in the inverted pyramid of takeover like a hungry caterpillar in Washington.

But there is a glimmer of hope in the common decency of the Spirit of the American people, as they begin breaking the chains and shoving back. And much is due to the computor age of information.

Here’s what Benjamin Franklin said, one of the founding fathers, before the Constitutional convention, June 7th, 1787:

“As all history informs us, there has been in every State & Kingdom, a constant kind of warfare between the governing and the governed: The one striving to obtain more for its support, and the other to pay less. And this alone occasioned great convulsions, actual civil wars, ending either dethroning of the princes, or enslaving of the people. Generally indeed the ruling power carries its point, the revenues of princes constantly increasing, and we see they are NEVER satisfied, but always in want of more. The more the people are discontented with the oppression of taxes, the greater need the prince has of money to distribute among his partisans and pay the troops that are to suppress all resistance, and enable him to plunder at pleasure. There is scarce a king in a hundred, who would not, if he could, follow the example of Pharaoh, get first all the peoples’ money, then all their lands, then make them and their children servants forever.”

I suggest re-reading this quote and inserting the names of the ones currently in power, to see the picture of our current state of being, in focus. And pay particular attention to, “plunder at pleasure.”
